At the young age of 5, I was shown the trade art of masonry. My father, grandfather, and great grandfather all owned masonry companies and I would frequent jobs with them. By the age of 13, I was reading blueprints and helping estimate with my father. After many years of being totally enveloped in the masonry trade, I began to get my hands dirty and learned how to lay brick. I was running crews and managing projects by the time I was 19. I began the process of taking over the family business around 29 and slowly started to transition the company from mainly residential to a full commercial masonry company. I applied for and was granted my first state license at that time. In 2014, I took over as president and co-owner, alongside my brother.
We rebranded the company as DRP Masonry and are now an $18 million a year masonry company operating in 8 states, and growing at a rapid rate. We hold 5 state licenses and employ over 250 people. We are very family oriented and have plans to continue our legacy for many years to come.
